| This year final event was the mochi making (Japanese Traditional Style)
at Juso Hakuai-Sya dojo. Our Dojo's trainee are too young. so, they could not do the making mochi. But, many parents could do that. We enjoied this events (join person over 200 number !). We presented to mochi -rice 2 Syo (3600cc) and making 14th Usu. It were eated out soon. Thank you very much. |

We enjoied to '99 Year end party at Juso [JIDAIYA]. We had many students, trainee, and parents. The Party was too fun. Thank you very much. |

This Convention place was Hyogo Pref Bunka Gymnastic. So, person number were very many much. Because, Kobe city is big city. And, the convention was very exciting. The games were Kata part at AM, and Kumite part at PM. Kumite rule was 6 point at 2 min This time, the convention level was so severe, we got to flags very difficult. |

This time convention place was Nishinari Sports Center.
We did it our best. Result are under.

1st win: Nakae at 2-3th junior high school,
and Kondo at 4th elementary school
2nd win: Kageyama at non black belt common person, Ichishima at 1th junior
high school, Suzuki at 5th elementary school, and Nakamoto at 4th elementary
school
3rd win: Minamihara at non black belt common person, Umemura at 4th elementary
school student, and Koide at 3th elementary school

1st win: Atsuko Saiga at 5-6th elementary
school, Yukiko Saiga at 3-4th elementary school, and Kitamura at infant
2nd win: Nozomi Kodeta at 3-4th elementary school, and Kodera at infant
3rd win: Kodera at 1-2th elementary school.

[ Report the result of all Austoralia tournaments (tasmania) of last week.
I,I got 80KgOVER Kumite class victory.
The State of Queensland group battle victory (Act as the general.)
It is commended as this year Best Queesland player.
A result was the best.
Therefore, I am a present Australian champion.
They were hard days with three covering of TV with one radio with two newspapers
last week.
I come here, and active as a professional karate player.
My amount of practice changed it was the time when I was in Japan, too.
The way as well that I toward the karate thought changed.
I think my level increased very much.
Well,I was surprised.
A mood was the best though a face was struck and it became a panda.
Anyway, my classes are very heavy, so they ware very huge.
I was the smallest,but I won the championship.
But, there were some big people beyond 2m over.
The finals battle of the individual election was a player in west Australia.
A score- is 6-5 in the sevier game.
It was the game which it really got tired of.
An end was only will.
A final game was the group finals battle of the State of Qeesland and the
State of Victoria.
Group battles are five members.
A score became 2-2, and became a conclusion in the general battle.
It was really a scene like a drama.
I was a general in the State of Queesland.
A general in the State of Victoria ,who got All Australian campion at three
times.
Anyone believed the victory of the State of Victoria.
As for my partner,he is height 185cm and Skin Head.
But, I had a victory in the end of the close game.
Then, KENJIRO Call rang from the Arena (about three minutes).
I was really a super star at that time.
Goodness of the beer drunk in the evening party will never forget a life.
The next goes to the Oceanian convention in New Zealand in September.
Probably, I will be Australian National Team.
Anyway, we say [ I did Good job ] at here.

Camping of the summer which became an established custom. "This year, we want to make it the trip which relaxed." and we talked, and the schedule of the trip was two nights three days until Monday from Saturday. Therefore, an office-worker couldn't participate, and he became the trip which a student was abundant in. A camping area was Hioki River Auto Camp village of Wakayama Prefecture. We were supposed to enjoy auto-camping with our plan in the Hioki River of the water which became clear by the slow flow. But, the Hioki River was a muddy stream with the influence of the typhoon. Muddy water. Moreover, swift current. When it fails, we may do drowning. The camping that a feeling of the strain floats very much. The establishment of the camping ground was very wonderful, and there was Hot Jet Bath in it. A student sleeps in the morning, and doesn't sleep at night. A driver got tired very much. |

The 39th Shito-Kai All Japan convention was held splendidly with Osaka
Maishima Arena. Many participants were met from each place in the whole country, and the inside and outside of the ground was crowded. It was equipped with the air conditioner well, and it was comfortable in the ground. The player of the Karate of representing Japan participated, too, we studied many things for watching. We couldn't win easily though our Dojo student participated in each section, too. There were many people confined for the semi-victory with being disappointed. Everyone of the cheer was very grateful. The 40th commemoration convention and the 3rd world convention will be held next year. |

It was held in Osaka city central gymnasium from 9 a.m. Let's do your best
.
This time, Our Adults Class could not get good. But, our children got many
prizes.
Highschool Class Kumite (Non Black Belt), Chikama wan the 1st
prize.
Junior-Highschool Class Kumite (14-15 age), Nakae got the best 8.
Junior-Highschool Class Kumite (13 age), Ichishima wan the 1st
prize, Kozaki got 2nd prize, and Umemura got the best 8.
School child Class Kata (8-9 age) Kodera wan the 1st
prize, Saiga got 2nd prize, and Monno got 3rd prize !
School child Class Kata (6-7 age) Kodera got 2nd prize.
Infant Class Kata, Kodera got 2nd prize.
 I stopped at a thinking, I dug a hole very hard at this time. |
We have the place in Wakayama Prefecture where if we dug the river
bank,a hot spring begins to well up. The place is being called with the "Kawayu Onsen". Last destination of the trip of ours became there. The place was very far. Tanaka felt very far because a way there was mistaken. We did one night in the camping ground of the "Kawayu Onsen", and it enjoyed pot cooking at night. We enjoyed fishing in the river of the imminence in 
the daytime of the next day.A "Kawayu Onsen" is mystic hot water. A hot spring to well up at once and which comes out if it is dug. The water of the river is very cold. However, the place where a hot spring gushes out is very hot. |
| The 33rd Osaka Prefecture Karate-Do championship race was held in Osaka
prefectural gymnasium. It was chosen by Chiseikan, Mr Yamazaki, Kasamatsu, Chikama, Nakae, Mae, and Fujimura brothers. |

Shito-Ryu Osaka Prefecture convention was held in the Maishima Sports Arena.
All of Chiseikan did all best very much during the game.
It won the championship from the child to the adult, and a lot of players
made a good fight three prizes , the semi-victory , and had a prize.
Mr,Chikama won the championship, and Mr,Sakagamis were good player prize,
Mr,Yamanami and Mr,Nakae get the third prize .
And, more than the third prize participates in the national conference
on August 1.

We had the 26th Osaka City Convention at Osaka city central gymnasium. Fujimura won the championship in the department of the Kumite in both departments of the discriminatory -less class and lightweight division. All of Chiseikan worked with this very well in the first on the list. A lot of Best player, were chosen as a result. It hung from 9 o'clock in the morning until 7 p.m. even if there were sporting events abundantly and the coat of six pages was used. Thank you for many encouragements.   ←High Punch ! (Yamazaki) |

This time, we went to Miyama. A scene was beautiful, and there was an atmosphere that it separated with the world. An inn was "kanbee" which was famous for chiken cooking. Chiken cooking was very delicious. By the story of the daughter of the lodging, "Mr. Kimura is scared from the old days. I couldn't move by his side." Though it was an end in March, it became a heavy snow for the second day. Miyama of the snow was still the country. |

We haｄ '1999 new year party at "JIDAIYA JUSO east
shop". The party invited Nakano Sensai of Hayashi-ha Shito-Ryu , many Parents , and many concerned person. Kimura Sensai took an intravenous drip until noon on the day because of a cold. Though it doubted his participation, the "disinfection" of the New Year's party was effective, and he felt fine very much. Ask everyone this year, too.. |
